Travel Itinerary: 3 Days in London – a Long Weekend
Many people plan a trip to London for only a few days, because they are then planning to head off on a larger vacation around the area. Especially for people coming from the States, London is a great place to start a tour of Europe. However, even if you are feeling the itch to go somewhere for a long weekend, then how about a quick trip to London?!?!
Some people in the States think it’s too far to fly for just a weekend, but it’s easy to find good deals on airfare between major US cities and London. And while your time will be limited, the good thing is that many popular sights in London are within a small area and transportation is plenty. The key is arranging your flights and work schedule so that you maximize your time off work for vacation during a long weekend trip. In fact, I’ve done a long weekend – 3 Days in London before — and had a fabulous time!
Here is my travel itinerary for 3 Days in London – a Long Weekend (prices are for 2 people)!

Airbnb — Airbnb is also a really great way to unique budget accommodations (and an apartment rather than a hotel room). Sometimes they are standalone rentals, other times you will be staying in a guest bedroom of a local — who are often happy to give you recommendations or even show you around!
