When I’m on a long trip, I really enjoy having a soft and comfy blanket to snuggle into and help me sleep. But let’s admit, those airline blankets are definitely not the most soft or comfy (and is it me…but there is always static electricity that shocks me when I use those!). So that’s why this soft travel pillow that converts into a blanket is so great. It doesn’t take up much space and is SO much more comfortable to use!
Sleep Mask Headphones
One of the things Liz loves to do when we are en route on a trip (especially an overnight flight) is to make her own little “zen” space where she can zone out and relax…and sleep! Especially when you are on a long flight, there is really nothing better than being able to put your feet up – even just a little bit. The point of trip is to get some time to relax. And one of the things Liz really enjoys (especially if we are staying in a nice hotel or if I’m on a business trip) is being able to relax and unwind in our hotel room. I have a thing for bags, as well as little bag-type organizers like this! Even though I’m the bag-obsessed one over here, one pet peeve of Liz’s is packing jewelry. She just cannot stand having all her jewelry strewn about — but especially her necklaces! She likes to wear long ones and they tend to get all twisted up in knots and damaged when we travel if they aren’t stored properly. When you are traveling it can be a pain to keep your laundry separate from your clean clothes, especially if you on the move regularly. I always hated using plastic bags for this, so a collapsible laundry bag is a must. It really helps keep everything separate and it’s washable too. Speaking of laundry, it’s such a pain to wash when you are traveling! And it can be expensive at hotels. I don’t actually mind doing my own washing, but doing a lot of it in the sink in a hotel room takes time and more energy than I wish to spend on a chore while I’m on vacation!
