Meet Karolina & Patryk from KarolinaPatryk.com. This Polish couple decided to leave the norm behind and start living out their dreams on the road. With their online product sales company they hit the road to live, love, work, and smile.
Tell us a little about yourselves and why you started KarolinaPatryk.com.
We are young people who decided to follow their hearts. We opened a business and started travelling around the world. The main reason we started blogging was to inspire other people to fulfill their dreams. This does not necessarily have to be traveling. The most important thing is to do something you love in your life.
You cover a lot of travel tips on your site. What is one tip that you feel most travelers overlook while on their trip or planning for their trip?
Think about the money. This is the most important thing when you travel. If you have enough money you can always buy a ticket back home, go to doctor when you are sick or find good accomodation.
One of the biggest hurdles for people getting outside the house and travel is money. Do you have any money saving tips for people to be able to save more to travel more?
We don’t have money saving tips- we have money EARNING tips. In our opinion, it doesn’t make sense to save money for 6 months only to spend it in 1 month. The best is to travel and make money in the same time. How? Visit our blog and find out :).
You two have traveled to a lot of places around the world. What is one place that surprised you and what about it was surprising (Good or Bad)?
Every country is unique, so there was always something unusual during our travels.
The biggest surprise for us was U.S. We were expecting something icredible, ‘a land flowing with milk and honey’. It turns out United States is country similar to Poland, our homeland. It’s beautiful but it’s not special.
What are some of the highs and lows of running a travel blog?
We love to inspire other people. It’s amazing to receive emails from people all over the world and helping them. This is the biggest advantage of running a travel blog.
On the other hand, you need to spend a lot of time during the day to work on your blog. Sometimes you need to sacriface your free time to sit in front of computer and write another blog post. This is the biggest drawback. Blogging is so time-consuming!
What can we as readers expect from your travel blog in the coming year? What are some of your upcoming travel plans?
We are moving to Thailand next Sunday so you can expect many awesome videos and photos!
At the beginning we will be staying in Chiang Mai (Nothern Thailand) but then we will go to Bali or Japan. It will be an amazing time, we can’t wait!
